Setting up Your Shipping Charges
You must provide a shipping charge for each product. We have three methods of calculating shipping charges to choose from:
1. Based on the value of the order
A. Fixed dollar amount based on the total order
Example:
Order Total | Shipping Charge |
$1.00 to $30.00 |
$3.50 |
$30.00 to $50.00 |
$7.00 |
Over $50.00 |
Free Shipping |
B. Percentage of total order
Example:
Order Total | Shipping Charge |
$1.00 to $30.00 |
2% |
$30.00 to $50.00 |
1% |
Over $50.00 |
Free Shipping |
2. Charge per Shipping Address
If the products can be combined in one box, you can use a fixed price per order.Example:
$5 per shipment to any one address
3. Accumulated Shipping
The item in the order with the highest shipping charge is used as the base charge, shipping charges for the other items are added at their second or "Additional" charge.
Example:
| Normal Shipping | | Express Shipping |

|

C |

So, if Elvis orders 1 Widget A, 2 Widget Bs and 4 Widget Cs, his shipping charges would be figured like this:
Normal Shipping: 1 x $10 + (2 x $2) + (4 x $1) = $18
Express Shipping: 1 x $15 + (2 x $6) + (4 x $3) = $39 |
